Job Summary
Track production and pressures for assigned wells, perform general inspections, and execute maintenance, repairs, and replacements while reporting health or safety issues. Operate pumping equipment including tank gauging, heater/treaters, and separators, identifying potential problems and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Monitor and record well information such as production rates, pressures, and injection volumes across production tank batteries, injection lines, and CO2 recycle facilities. Requires plunger and gas lift experience, basic math skills, and ability to work independently. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Laredo, TX, with no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must live within a 50 mile radius
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Plunger and gas lift experience is required
- Working knowledge of mechanical applications
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently under little supervision
- Basic math skills
- Responsible and diligent
- Safety-conscious
- Personal computer experience or willingness to learn
- Previous oilfield experience
- No supervisory responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to satisfy Department of Justice requirements with or without assistance
