Job Summary
Lease Operator II performs and maintains all wells and equipment on the assigned route, monitors oil, water, and gas production, conducts routine maintenance, performs repairs and oversees third-party services, tests wells monthly, records tests, and maintains knowledge of downhole and surface production equipment. Requires outdoor work year-round, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with safety regulations; must wear breathing air equipment and pass related tests. Located at Cheyenne Wells, CO, with responsibilities centered on safe, compliant operation and accurate reporting to the Production Foreman.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or GED
- Ability to wear all types of breathing air equipment
- Pass a pulmonary function test and a fit test
- Successful completion of industry schools as scheduled by Citation
- Successful completion of safety and regulatory training as scheduled by Citation
