Job Summary
Lease Operator I monitors and manages production in the assigned area to maximize production and control lease operating expenses. The role applies basic knowledge of Production Operations and related equipment, performs routine maintenance of production equipment (including separation and measurement equipment), maintains tools and equipment, submits work requests, supports the Foreman, and participates in on-call rotations. The position requires strong communication and teamwork, familiarity with SCADA/eVIN and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Occasional overtime and adherence to company guidelines are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state-certified program
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, CDL a plus (and may be required in some locations)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check
- Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50lbs
- Capable of rigorous outdoor activities with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, driving a vehicle, operation of forklifts and other light industrial equipment
