Job Summary
Monitor, optimize, and maintain oil and gas production and injection wells while ensuring peak efficiency and reliability of equipment. Conduct daily vehicle monitoring of multiple well sites, including flowing, beam pump, plunger lift, and water injection facilities. Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot mechanical problems on production tank batteries, flowlines, and metering devices. Perform mandatory paperwork for customer and regulatory agencies, execute general housekeeping and field maintenance, and adhere to safe work practices and environmental procedures. Expect non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours. This role supports Health, Environment, and Safety processes on assigned properties.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Lease Operator experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Must be able to walk, bend, and stop
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
- Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms
- Understanding of environmental and safe work practices
