Job Summary
Monitor and optimize all production and injection wells by acquiring process variables, storing data, and operating SCADA systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain oil and gas equipment including artificial lift systems, compression, and dehydration units while driving on a routine basis. Actively support health, environment, and safety processes by testing safety devices and adhering to regulatory policies. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders and ensure all operations meet customer excellence standards. Work weekends, holidays, and overtime on a rotating callout schedule with a provided pick-up truck.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years operations experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries
- Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime based on work activity
- The provider will need to provide a truck for the individual
- Position will be required to take callouts on a rotating schedule
- 5+ years operations experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries, including experience with regulations and the maintenance and testing requirements associated with related safety devices
- In depth understanding of upstream facilities including, but not limited to: separation, pumping, gathering, tankage, lact sales, metering, and compression
- Broad knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and maintain major oil and gas production facility process systems including: mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and production equipment
- Capable of simultaneously performing multiple tasks with limited supervision
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers
- Must neet conditional job offer requirements
