Job Summary
Deliver engaging academic lessons and enrichment activities that reinforce school-day learning for elementary students. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs while establishing clear expectations aligned with partner school practices. Provide individualized and small-group instruction to support students performing below grade level, monitor engagement, and maintain accurate attendance records. Participate in weekly team meetings, pre-program planning, and required professional development. Work part-time after school from September through May at multiple locations in Southern Maine.
Required Qualifications
- State of Maine Teaching Certification or eligibility for certification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
