Job Summary
Assess students' academic strengths, learning needs, and styles to develop and implement individualized learning plans. Provide targeted support and interventions in core subjects and study skills while monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as necessary. Collaborate with tutors, teachers, and parents to foster an inclusive environment, mentor students through challenges, and maintain regular communication with families regarding progress. Prepare assessments, progress reports, and intervention records, evaluating program effectiveness to recommend improvements. Stay updated on best practices through professional development activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, minimum two years' experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching, learning support, academic counseling, or student development
- Strong understanding of learning styles, academic intervention strategies, and student development principles
- Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized learning plans
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Strong commitment to student success, inclusion, and continuous learning
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders
