Job Summary
Learning Support Specialist (Behavior Focus) provides instructional and behavioral coaching to improve specially designed instruction for students with social-emotional and behavioral regulation needs. Partners with educators and families to create impactful learning environments, focusing on SEB barriers to learning, trauma-informed approaches, and SDI. Requires a Master’s degree in education and an active or pursuing Iowa Master Educator License, plus Iowa licensure. Full-time position (8 hours/190 days) with certified benefits; salary per the 2026-27 schedule. Location: Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education and current holder of, or actively pursuing, an Iowa Master Educator License.
- Iowa Board of Educational Examiners license.
- Demonstrated expertise in SEBH interventions, trauma-informed care, and behavioral strategies that enhance specially designed instruction (SDI).
