Job Summary
Plan, deliver, and assess learning activities for students with additional needs up to GCSE level, collaborating with teaching staff and specialists. Support pupils individually and in small groups, contribute to individual education plans, and lead targeted interventions. Assist with exam access arrangements while promoting pupil independence, emotional well-being, and academic progress. Foster inclusive learning environments through initiative and adaptability. This fixed-term role begins immediately, with core hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 1:30pm on Friday, term time only. Woodbridge School offers a permanent pathway after the initial year.
Required Qualifications
- Enhanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
- Ability to work up to 30 hours per week
- Ability to work over 4 or 5 days
- Term time only availability
- 34 weeks per year availability
- Fixed-term contract availability
- Ability to work 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday - Thursday
- Ability to work 8:30am – 1.30pm on Friday
- Ability to work 30 hours per week (across 4 or 5 days)
