Learning Specialist

Design and follow individualized schedules for students on your caseload to meet specific learning needs and goals. Support literacy diagnostics and interventions while maintaining weekly progress logs and communicating updates to colleagues and advisors. Meet with special education teachers and all Learning Specialists weekly to address concerns, share information, and facilitate case management at staff meetings. Provide feedback on student progress, assist with IEP reports, and participate in evaluation team meetings as needed. Oversee initial STAR literacy testing and attend student exhibitions. Cover advisories as a short-term substitute and meet regularly with your Principal.
