Job Summary
Learning Experience Designer to develop and deliver engaging, scalable training content across IPS locations. Responsibilities include creating high-quality e-learning content (courses, activities, certifications, videos, scripts), collaborating with SMEs and the L&D team to translate technical knowledge into actionable learning experiences, standardizing course structures, defining metrics for content effectiveness, and updating the LMS. Requires partnering with the Learning Operations team to assess learning needs and contribute to IPSU content development, with a focus on improving technician performance, leadership capability, and customer outcomes. Proficiency in articulating instructional design principles, building video/content, and using tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise, plus Camtasia and Canva. Strong project management, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. The role supports IPS locations across North America and is described as Full-Time with a focus on strategic learning development and leadership capability building.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in education/training development or relevant experience
- Advanced experience with course authoring tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva and much more)
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Effective communicator; written, verbal and active listening
- Experienced in defining and building video and course content
- Knowledge of various learning methods and ability to blend methods to best fit learning objectives
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
