Job Summary

Learning Experience Designer at Innovative Hematology (IHI) supports the journey mapping, technical development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of education programs through learning systems, e-learning tools, virtual platforms, and education resource infrastructure. Partners with the Organizational & Talent Development Program Manager, Medical Education Program Manager, clinical leaders, education committee members, SMEs, quality, and other stakeholders to ensure materials are professionally designed, accessible, organized, accurately assigned, tracked, and aligned across education platforms. Focuses on learner design, technical and systems-based components including LMS administration and e-authoring with tools like iSpring, MS Teams education events, education reporting, version control, resource organization, and learner experience while ensuring compliance, competency tracking, and continuous improvement. Builds and maintains education modules in HealthStream or other LMS, develops e-learning content, collaborates with stakeholders to align with objectives, supports annual competency and new hire education workflows, maintains education records and reporting, coordinates Teams events and virtual learning activities, participates in education events and initiatives, maintains organized resource libraries, ensures alignment between systems, creates project trackers and dashboards, assists with formatting of materials, and provides learner support. This position is designed as a hybrid role, splitting time between the Indianapolis, IN office and home.

Required Qualifications

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, healthcare administration, information systems, communications, business, or related field, required.
  • Experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting learning systems, education technology, training coordination, instructional design, administrative education workflows, or related work, required. Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with HealthStream, iSpring, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, learning management systems, e-learning development, education reporting, or competency tracking preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and insured automobile required
  • All IHI employees are expected to enable multi-factor authentication via their personal smart phone/smart device in order to access IHI systems as a requirement of the role.
