Job Summary
Designs and delivers customer and ONTO service engineer training, developing course content from engineering and software documentation, and creating lesson plans. Works with engineering, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure materials reflect current product features, and instructs participants in classroom and laboratory settings. Maintains training tool readiness and resolves equipment issues; willing to travel worldwide (0%–50% travel typically), including on-the-job training and certification. Requires fluent English, TOEFL accepted, and travel domestically and internationally with a valid passport. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of video editing/processing software is desired. Reading electrical schematic/block diagrams; understanding electronics, optics, or physics is helpful. 3D metrology and semiconductor manufacturing training context provided by Onto Innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ Technical Training experience desired
- Fluent English verbal & written is mandatory; TOEFL scores accepted
- Candidate should be prepared to travel both domestically and internationally and have a current Passport
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; video editing/processing software desired
- Experience reading electrical schematic diagrams/block diagrams; optics or physics helpful
