Job Summary
Design and oversee learning experiences and development as part of a team; create design documents, conduct audience needs analyses, facilitate SME input, map course content to learning objectives, and develop high-quality learning resources. Lead the end-to-end training development cycle, including creating mockups/prototypes, designing diverse learning solutions (web-based, instructor-led, and virtual instructor-led), and coordinating cross-functional teams (media, technology, project management, client onsite). Mentor a 2-3 person team, manage budgets and timelines, review deliverables for instructional quality and usability, and communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Strong written and verbal communication, ability to work with global clients, and proficiency with editorial standards and common tools are required.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Instructional Design, Cognitive Psychology, English, Technical Writing, Communications, related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience in training design and development
- Experience in managing a team of 2-3 people
- Basic project management experience
- Experience with developing training solutions for global audiences; localization/translation considerations
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Project
