Job Summary
Conduct learning disabilities teacher consultations to support classroom professionals with instructional strategies and classroom management. Administer learning assessments and diagnoses while collaborating with Child Study Teams to ensure special education program requirements are met. Maintain strong relationships with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community by demonstrating enthusiasm and interpersonal skills. Requires a Master's degree, valid NJ educational services certificate with a learning disabilities endorsement, and a clean driver's license. Schedule and on-call details available upon application.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
- valid New Jersey educational services certificate in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:27.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. Title 6 Chapter 11 with a learning disabilities teacher-consultant endorsement (N.J.A.C. 6:11-11.13)
