Learning & Development Specialist (Senior)

Job Summary
Conduct thorough training needs analyses by interviewing department heads, compiling CAPs, and analyzing assessment data to identify skill gaps. Design engaging instructional materials, develop curricula, and deliver workshops through in-person, virtual, and e-learning modalities. Coordinate staff training logistics including sourcing trainers, comparing quotations, arranging content customization, and managing room setup and safety briefings. Facilitate interactive sessions, ensure full attendance, collect evaluations, and follow up on Level 3 reports and certificates. Monitor EHS training programs, manage HRDF utilization with PSMB, and support audits by maintaining comprehensive training records.
Required Qualifications
- Certified as a trainer
- 5-7 years of experiences
- Bachelor's degree in HRM or Management or Education or Training and Development, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Training Consultant or similar role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to deal with training providers and staff, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and concisely
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
- Proficient in the use of various training tools and technologies
- Ability to adapt training programs to meet the evolving needs of the organization and respond to changing priorities
- Flexibility in adjusting training delivery methods to accommodate different learning environments, including virtual and in-person settings
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Adept at identifying training gaps and implementing innovative solutions to address organizational learning needs
- Proactive in troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during training sessions
