Job Summary
The Learning & Development Specialist will design, deliver, and optimize training programs for Servbank’s banking operations, focusing on products, systems, policies, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include developing onboarding and ongoing training for customer-facing and internal teams, collaborating with operations, mortgage servicing, and compliance to identify skill gaps, creating and maintaining training materials, managing LMS-based onboarding tracking for audit readiness, and coaching to reinforce knowledge retention. The role requires strong instructional design, facilitation, and technical writing skills, with the ability to train in-person and virtually, and involves ensuring content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with banking practices and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or a related role, preferably within banking or a regulated environment
- Familiarity with banking operations, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Experience developing training materials, including presentations, job aids, and procedural documentation
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to train both in-person and virtually
- Proficiency in technical writing, with the ability to clearly document policies and procedures
- Experience with or exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training assignment and tracking
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, compliance, and leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with eLearning tools is a plus
