Job Summary
Act as a champion for employee development by building strong relationships with managers and staff to understand learning needs and align opportunities. Lead and develop the Auger Academy, track progress, and ensure programs deliver meaningful growth. Oversee learning platforms Spark and Clever Nelly to keep content current and engaging. Coordinate new starter training to equip new employees with necessary knowledge from day one. Support managers in meaningful development conversations with guidance and tools. Identify training needs across the business and take ownership of sourcing, booking, and coordinating appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate training records and proactively track and renew required certifications. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational ability, empathy and coaching mindset, data-informed decision making, and teamwork across the business. A passion for helping people grow, initiative, ownership, and a proactive, collaborative approach to development are highly valued.
