Job Summary

Facilitate new hire orientations by welcoming team members, guiding them through their first day, and ensuring paperwork is collected. Lead training classes as scheduled, respond to emergent classroom needs, and provide carpooling or driving evaluations for new hires. Maintain accurate certification records in HRIS, schedule required training, and complete all necessary filing. Assist the Talent Acquisition Team with interviews and recruiting events as assigned. Ensure conference rooms are well-organized and equipped for staff and visitors. This role requires a valid driver's license, DHS background check, and certifications in CPR and the Oregon Intervention System. Full-time, 40-hour schedule with variable hours including nights and weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • College degree in related fields
  • At least 18 years of age when starting employment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to learn agency applications
  • Dependable, reliable, and regular work attendance
  • Adherence to attendance policies
  • Valid driver's license
  • Eligibility to drive agency vehicles
  • Pass required DHS background check
  • Pass Protective Service Investigations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification to a satisfactory level in Oregon Intervention System
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification in CPR
  • Ability to complete and maintain all certifications as required by the position, PCL, and other governing agencies
  • Ability to complete all duties related to being a Mandatory Abuse Reporter
  • Complete new hire orientation and on-site training within 60 days of hire
