Job Summary
Learning Designer owns end-to-end learning workstreams and translates client challenges into high-impact, AI-informed learning solutions grounded in adult learning theory and evidence-based design. Responsibilities span designing across modalities (in-person workshops, virtual instructor-led training, self-paced digital learning, simulations, and AI-enabled environments), developing measurement strategies to demonstrate behavior change and business impact, tailoring existing Academy products, and delivering high-quality assets (facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, visual decks, assessments, digital content). The role also covers facilitation or facilitation-by-exception during learning events, collaborating with clients to align learning with engagement goals, and maintaining a continuous improvement mindset. Additional duties include business development support, proposal development, client relationship management, thought leadership contributions, and staying current on learning science, educational technology, and AI-enabled learning ecosystems. The position requires travel to client sites up to 30–40% and on-site collaboration with clients as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Education, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Learning and Curriculum Design, or equivalent
- 3–5 years of professional experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field
- Experience applying ADDIE, SAM, or comparable frameworks
- Working knowledge of AI tools relevant to learning design (generative AI for content development, assessment creation, and research synthesis)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 30–40% of the time and work on-site with clients as needed
- Experience designing across modalities (in-person, virtual, self-paced, simulations)
- Ability to lead end-to-end learning workstreams and learning-events execution
- Ability to contribute to thought leadership, proposals, and client-facing narratives
- Familiarity with video/multimedia production tools and digital learning platforms is a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Education, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Learning and Curriculum Design, or equivalent
- 3–5 years of professional experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field

- Working knowledge of AI tools relevant to learning design—including generative AI for content development, assessment creation, and research synthesis

- Ability to travel up to 30–40% of the time, working on-site with clients as needed
- Experience designing across modalities (in-person workshops, virtual instructor-led training, self-paced digital learning, simulations, etc.)
- Ability to oversee end-to-end learning workstreams and lead execution of learning events
- Experience contributing to thought leadership, proposals, and client-facing narratives
- Familiarity with video/multimedia production tools and digital learning platforms is a plus
