Job Summary
Analyze role-specific learner needs to craft measurable learning objectives and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop or update training materials. Work with multimedia teams to create media assets, manage development milestones and quality assurance, and monitor deliverables through translation and launch. Evaluate content using qualitative and quantitative methods to drive improvements, while conducting technical training, sign-offs, and lab-based skills sessions for physicians and care teams. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design tools to deliver eLearning, instructor-led training, and assessments.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7 yrs. relevant professional experience
- Ability to sign-off on applicable technical and/or clinical content
- Experience designing and developing eLearning, instructor-led training, and assessments
- Delivery of training in a professional or classroom setting
- Demonstrated application of adult learning theory, analysis tools and process, evaluation tools and models, assessment best practices, and learning objective construction
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working and collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to create robust content solutions
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple development projects and deadlines, and adapt to project changes
- Ability to present clear solutions that drive alignment and cross-functional buy-in
- Ability to work with instructional design processes, tools, and templates
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must provide work samples and/or portfolio
- Minimum college degree required
- Software proficiency: Articulate Rise
- Software proficiency: Articulate Storyline
- Software proficiency: Camtasia
- Software proficiency: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Software proficiency: Smartsheet or equivalent project management tool
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in biotech or medical device organization
- Curriculum Development or Instructional Design/Technology master's degree
- Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency
- Current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- Instructional Design, Education, or Science/Engineering degree preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in biotech or medical device organization preferred
- Curriculum Development or Instructional Design/Technology master's degree preferred
- Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency preferred
