Job Summary
Monitor behavior and provide instructional support for students in the Alternative Learning Center at Mesa Public Schools. Responsibilities include supervising students, managing morning and lunch detentions, tutoring students in reading, math and English, communicating progress with teachers/admin, maintaining records, attending meetings, and assisting with other duties to ensure effective program functioning. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and an Associate’s Degree (or 60 college credits) or completion of a ParaPro Test. Base hourly rate is $17.78; position is part-time (29 hours/week) with annual performance pay and potential increases for relevant experience.

- Associate’s Degree or 60 college credit hours required at time of hire OR pass the ParaPro Test provided by the district free of charge
