Job Summary
The Learning and Development Training Specialist will conduct needs assessments and drive research, development, implementation, maintenance, coordination, communication, improvement, and evaluation of comprehensive learning and development initiatives to enhance SCF’s workforce performance and readiness. This role spans two levels, offering progressively more responsible and independent assignments as the individual demonstrates capability. Responsibilities emphasize designing and delivering development programs, aligning with organizational goals, and ensuring health and compliance requirements are met for personnel. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field, two years of experience in training and development, and an ATD Master Certificate; the II level adds three years of L&D experience and advanced demonstrated competency. Native preference applies. Health-immunization compliance is required for designated Health Care Personnel roles.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in training, education, Human Resources, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Two (2) years of experience in the field of training and development, education, or Human Resources.
- One (1) ATD Master Certificate; OR ability to obtain within one (1) year.
- Additional Qualifications for Learning and Development Training Specialist II: Three (3) years in Learning and Development and demonstrated competency as a Learning and Development Training Specialist I.
