Job Summary
External Learning & Development Instructor at GAF leads regional to nationwide training events focused on roofing systems, sales and technical topics for contractors, installers, distributors, architects, and internal GAF staff. Responsibilities include delivering engaging seminars and webinars, developing facilitation techniques and learning assets, keeping program content up to date, and training the GAF sales force and employees on systems and programs. Travel is required (50-70%), with duties spanning classroom and webinar formats and collaboration across marketing, HR, and CCP functions. The role emphasizes public speaking, instructional design, and hands-on roofing knowledge to educate a diverse audience within the roofing industry.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years construction and/or roofing experience
- Ability to speak to large audiences
- Knowledge of general construction and roofing systems
