Job Summary
Plan and implement a weekly curriculum while supervising large and small group activities with children. Provide age-appropriate discipline, maintain safety protocols, and serve as the primary responder for accidents and incidents. Demonstrate proper equipment care, prepare snacks or meals as assigned, and complete required forms including attendance and injury reports. Supervise locker rooms and swim with participants. Work flexible hours including those outside the normal schedule for training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Possess a working knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- be able to exercise sound judgment
- Communicate effectively with all other staff, parents, and children
- Demonstrate proper care and storage of equipment and supplies
- OCurrent CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with children leading recreational activities
