Job Summary

Lead and complete process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodology to identify inefficiencies, waste, and variation in business processes. Define project charters, scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics, then analyze current-state processes using data and root-cause analysis tools. Design and implement future-state processes that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency while facilitating cross-functional meetings, workshops, and Kaizen events. Track, validate, and report results such as cost savings, cycle-time reduction, throughput, or quality improvement. Develop standard work, documentation, and controls to sustain improvements, effectively managing stakeholder expectations and supporting adoption of process changes. Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership and business partners. Requires a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, Bachelor's degree preferred, and 2-5+ years of experience in process improvement or operations within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. Must meet Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy requirements including a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Required Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe)
  • 2-5+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or business operations
  • Demonstrated experience applying Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, value stream mapping, root cause analysis)
  • Basic project management skills
  • Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a 'Driver' as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Microsoft Project a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing or operational environments preferred
