Job Summary
Lead cross-functional DMAIC projects with significant financial and operational impact by identifying improvement opportunities, defining scope, and managing stakeholder resources. Execute Lean tools such as value stream mapping and Yamazumi diagrams to optimize workflows, reduce cycle time, and enhance labor efficiency. Drive Kaizen events and rapid improvement workshops while analyzing production data to improve throughput and Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Manage project barriers, track status against milestones, and replicate best practices across sites. Operate with minimal supervision to make decisions impacting project outcomes, ensuring compliance with FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or closely related discipline
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures within engineering discipline
- Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
