Job Summary
Leads Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt initiatives within the Logistics and Distribution (L&D) team at Dexcom to drive world-class Logistics Excellence. Responsibilities include setting roadmaps and standards for end-to-end logistics processes (receiving, inventory, pick/pack/ship, transportation, and trade compliance), applying structured problem-solving methods (DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management, Kanban, mistake proofing, Fishbone, 5 Whys, SIPOC) to remove variation and waste, conducting process and data analyses to identify root causes and corrective actions, developing a cost transformation plan with standardized metrics, coaching and mentoring to build Lean Six Sigma bench strength, creating a Logistics Excellence assessment program for Dexcom and vendor-managed locations, and acting as a project manager to deliver objectives on time and within budget while meeting QMS, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements. The role requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable, sustainable improvements in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations, with 15%-25% travel and on-site duties in Mesa, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or willingness to pursue within 6 months)
- 8-12 years of related experience
- Ability to travel 15%-25%
- On-site work in Mesa, AZ (location specified)
- Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proven track record leading cross-functional process improvements
- Knowledge of DMAIC, Kaizen, value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban, and root-cause analysis methods
- Ability to manage projects to within budget and schedule
- Understanding of QMS and regulatory requirements
