Lean Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead cost and operational excellence projects across manufacturing facilities, driving Lean and Six Sigma strategies to improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery. Promote a continuous improvement culture, identify and eliminate waste, standardize processes, and build sustainable capabilities. Lead cross-functional teams using Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, VSM, Kanban, RCA), train staff, and collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and leadership. Support growth initiatives with hands-on project execution, SOP development, KPI establishment, and change management. Travel 25-40% to domestic and international sites, including Leon, Mexico.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations Management
- Minimum of 5 years in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or related leadership roles
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing change in manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tools: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Root Cause Analysis, Standard Work
- Experience with ERP systems and process mapping software
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable operational and financial improvements
