Job Summary
Lead Kaizen events and sustain continuous improvement: prioritize, coordinate and plan Kaizen activities; train employees on Lean principles; act as Facilitator/Team Leader/Member; promote 5S and visual management; monitor 30/90-day sustainment; reduce waste; support safety initiatives; report issues to Manufacturing Engineering Manager; collaborate across Hubbell's Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lean tool experience
- Self-motivated and upbeat, with ability to lead teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent prioritization skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer operation (Excel, Word etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent
- Green / Black Belt in LEAN Six Sigma
- Prior Kaizen team leadership experience
