Job Summary
Lean Manufacturing Intern at GE Vernova's Bushing Factory in Sesto San Giovanni. Work with the Lean & Manufacturing Engineering team to support continuous improvement projects, Kaizen events, data collection/analysis, Gemba Walks, and creation/update of standard work and SOPs. Gain hands-on experience applying Lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency; contribute to KPI tracking and management reviews. Ideal candidates are current students or recent graduates in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical or similar) or Business Administration, proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), fluent in English and Italian, and able to work primarily in an office setting with some remote flexibility. Hands-on mindset, strong communication, analytical abilities, and a proactive attitude toward Lean thinking are desired. Location: Sesto San Giovanni, Italy. Latest start date: 1st September.
Required Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or similar) or Business Administration.
