Job Summary
Lean Manufacturing Intern drives hands-on Lean initiatives with the Lean Leader, supporting Kaizen events, data collection and analysis, Gemba Walks, and documentation of standard work and SOPs to optimize production processes and reduce waste. You will assist in KPI tracking, prepare management-status updates, and contribute to continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced factory environment in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy. Ideal candidates are current students or recent graduates in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical or related) or Business Administration, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, fluent in English and Italian, with strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving mindset. The role combines office work with remote flexibility and requires a hands-on, proactive approach to learn Lean methodologies and apply them on the shop floor.
Required Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or similar) or Business Administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent English and Italian with working efficiency
