LEAN Engineer

Job Summary
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Toyota Production System principles to identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance. Collect and analyze manufacturing data including cycle time, takt time, and throughput metrics to monitor key performance indicators and report on process effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop standardized work instructions, visual management tools, and 5S standards while training employees on Lean methodologies and best practices. Participate in value stream mapping and time studies to optimize manufacturing processes and support long-term operational success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering field, or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or another process improvement methodology preferred
- Previous manufacturing or process improvement experience, including internships, preferred
- Familiarity with Toyota Production System (TPS) principles preferred
- Experience with continuous improvement tools such as value stream mapping, time studies, and 5S preferred
