Job Summary
Leads Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives in a traditional manufacturing environment. Responsible for identifying opportunities, creating action plans, and driving value through process standardization, training, and Kaizen/Value Stream Mapping events. Coaches employees on Lean principles and Six Sigma problem-solving techniques; mitigates cost-of-quality issues; implements KPI-driven, visual management systems; tracks improvements and cost benefits for long-term sustainability; develops a manufacturing-excellence roadmap and provides guidance to indirect teams. Reports to VP of Operations as an individual contributor. Requires a BS degree, Six Sigma Black Belt, 10+ years of operations experience with 5+ years leading change, and willingness to reside in or commute to Marietta, OH.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- 10+ years of operations experience
- 5+ years leading change initiatives
- experience building CI programs
- facilitation skills
- knowledge of Kaizen, 5S, Pull Systems, Kanban, SMED
- change management experience in manufacturing
- technical aptitude for traditional manufacturing processes
- proof of growth through Lean journey
- reside within or commute to Marietta, OH area
