Job Summary
The Lean Coach at Senior Aerospace SSP is responsible for implementing TPS methodologies in manufacturing, leading kaizen events, coaching teams, and driving improvement initiatives in a mid-level engineering role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Demonstrated expertise in Toyota Production System principles and tools
- Direct experience implementing lean in complex manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements
- Experience with manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, and assembly
- Proven track record of leading successful improvement projects
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities using TPS methodologies
- Experience working with precision tolerances and quality requirements
- Understanding of high-mix, low-volume production environments
Desired Qualifications
- Lean or Six Sigma certification
- Experience with aerospace supply chain dynamics
- Background in precision machining or assembly operations
