Job Summary
Conduct gas leak detection, perform field inspections, and compile accurate reports using hands-on skills and advanced GIS tools. Detect and assess leaks to ensure community safety, then translate daily progress into clear, concise reports for stakeholders. Master Geographic Information Systems to visualize raw data and support clients with FlowGIS and Esri software. This role includes training provided for those without prior natural gas experience, with a company vehicle supplied for travel across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, HVAC, or field locating
- Experience in leak surveys
- Experience in customer interaction
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Interest in learning about spatial data and mapping systems
