Job Summary
Assist lead technicians on residential, commercial, municipal, and pool leak detection jobs by helping locate hidden leaks and operating specialized equipment such as acoustic listening devices, ground microphones, pressure testing gear, infrared cameras, and drain cameras. Prepare job sites before testing begins, carry and maintain tools, assist with digging and access work, and protect customer property while keeping sites clean. Take job-site photos and gather information for technician reports, communicate clearly with staff and customers, and follow safety procedures. This summer field position includes paid training, paid travel time, and advancement opportunities into a Water Leak Detection Technician role.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to perform physical work and lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance when appropriate
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, maintenance, utilities, restoration, pools, irrigation, landscaping, mechanical work, or plumbing
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good listening skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work well with a lead technician
