Job Summary
Aids in supervision of cleaning functions in assigned buildings with daily follow-up, while performing physical and written inspections of restrooms and locker rooms. Relays instructions from supervisors and manages equipment maintenance and inventory monitoring. Requires frequent lifting up to 40 pounds, prolonged standing, and bending. Shift runs from 4pm to 8pm. High school diploma and security clearance required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to decipher/comprehend signs indicating danger
- Skilled in the knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Ability to obtain security clearance to work at assigned work site
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- One to two years previous custodial experience
- Graduate of GGW's custodial training program
