Job Summary
Lead Person responsible for safety-conscious leadership of the quarry team, communicating standards of excellence and daily goals, performing inspections, coordinating maintenance and production, participating in safety committees, and assisting with training and evaluations. Travel to other locations is required. Typical day includes office/plant duties, equipment operation and repairs, ensuring safety, housekeeping and product quality, and completing daily production, safety and maintenance reports. Works with Plant Manager, Production Supervisor, and Sr. Team Coordinator to develop mining plans, AFE's, and monthly forecasts; supports performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed. Hours are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, including weekends and overtime as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience in the building materials, mining or aggregates industry
