Leadperson

Lead Person responsible for safety-conscious communication of standards and daily work assignments to a team to achieve safe production. Responsibilities include communicating goals via meetings and daily interactions, contributing to employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions, traveling to quarry locations, completing office, plant, and equipment duties, conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations, coordinating maintenance with supervisors, producing daily production, safety, and maintenance reports, training co-workers as needed, and supporting the plant manager and supervisors in mining plans and forecasts. Requires a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience; travel to locations is required. Hours are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm with weekends and overtime as necessary.
