Job Summary
Direct daily operations at the Moore Quarry Plant by planning work assignments, operating mobile equipment like loaders and dozers, and performing manual housekeeping tasks. Enforce safety policies, conduct equipment inspections, and coordinate with maintenance for preventative repairs. Maintain accurate logs for production, safety, and maintenance while assisting management with mining and profit plans. Lead the team through independent decision-making, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with company ethics. Work full-time with long hours and weekend availability in a surface mine environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or GED equivalent
- 1-4 years heavy equipment experience
- Knowledge of safety rules surrounding the functions of the position
- Exemplary skills in the field
- Ability to communicate clearly and in writing using the English language
