Job Summary
Plant Lead responsible for all daily ready mix plant administrative tasks and record keeping, including driver logs, maintenance records, environmental compliance, safety follow-ups, and backflush procedures. Drives safety initiatives, coordinates with Plant Superintendent and other supervisors to resolve production issues, oversees preventative maintenance and minor repairs, manages batching operations to ensure correct materials and proportions, monitors material quality, and facilitates efficient product delivery through coordination with Dispatch and Customer Service. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, SAP/Command knowledge, and the ability to work extended hours with possible overnight travel; safety and regulatory compliance with OSHA/DOT standards are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- ACI Certification
- Two or more years’ experience in plant production, safety and maintenance; equipment maintenance; production problem resolution
- OSHA/DOT regulations knowledge
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of SAP, Command
- Ability to work extended hours and travel as necessary
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Safety-focused leadership and adherence to safety standards
