Job Summary
As a Production Leading Hand at Byford Quarry, you will lead and operate various mobile plant equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks, while assisting in training and mentoring team members. The role focuses on quarry development and mine decision making, ensuring safe practices and coordinating maintenance activities. Candidates must possess significant experience in quarrying or mining, demonstrate heavy machinery operation competency, and exhibit a strong team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in quarrying, mining, or similar operation
- Competency in operating heavy machinery used in extraction operations – Excavator, Dozer, Grader, Loader
- Strong commitment to best practice mining techniques
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges in a supportive environment
