Job Summary
Leading Hand to join Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort facilities team. Coordinate daily operations, supervise grounds team, and ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Role involves leading or supervising a small team, coordinating labour resources, maintaining landscaping, gardens, roads, pathways and common areas, supporting utilities infrastructure, rubbish and recycling operations, monitoring facility conditions, planning workloads with the Facilities Manager, liaising with contractors, providing project progress updates, acting as the Facilities Manager's delegate during absences, and promoting a strong safety culture aligned with workplace health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, facilities, property maintenance, or a similar field
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a small team
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and coordinate resources effectively
- Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues
- Experience working with contractors and external service providers
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Current driver's licence
- Trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience highly regarded
