Job Summary
Assist the Principal and Leadership Team to increase student achievement. Leadership Team positions require a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate, three years of teaching experience, knowledge of effective instruction and pedagogy, leadership abilities, and willingness to participate in county/WVDE trainings and the interview process; applicants must apply online or in-person and provide references, transcripts, certification, and authorize a background check. Start date for the 2026-2027 school year; salary funded through Title I and/or Step 7d funds. Discrimination policy applies; position is in-person at East Hardy Elementary School, Moorefield, WV.
Required Qualifications
- West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate
- Three years of teaching experience
- Knowledge of effective instruction/pedagogy and content knowledge
- Exhibit leadership capabilities and capacity to assume additional responsibilities
- Willingness to be an automatic applicant to, and serve on, the Hardy County Leadership Team
- Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process
- Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
- Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations
