Job Summary
Coordinate small group events and signature stewardship experiences for Hamilton's top donors, managing a portfolio of 200-250 alumni and parent prospects. Execute individualized, narrative-driven strategies through solicitation calls and in-person asks to secure, retain, and upgrade leadership-level gifts ranging from $2,500 to $25,000+. Collaborate with Development and Alumni Events teams to deliver on-campus and off-campus engagement featuring the President, faculty, and students. Utilize data analytics tools to track real-time dollar growth, make informed decisions on prospect management, and support the college's ambitious capital campaign. Requires 2-5 years of fundraising experience and proficiency in Salesforce-based databases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-5 years fund-raising and events management, or comparable program management, experience
- Direct experience with small, liberal arts colleges similar to Hamilton
- Demonstrated results-orientation and a strategic, problem-solving approach to challenges
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, paying close attention to detail while meeting deadlines
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite
- Ability to learn new software, especially, ascend, and any other Salesforce-based Advancement databases
- Ability to work successfully in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends during on-campus alumni events
