Job Summary
Lead cross-functional initiatives to define and implement unified NX-OS based software solutions for the Nexus 9000 Series platforms. Drive clarity in ambiguous environments by distilling complex challenges into actionable plans and ensuring measurable customer outcomes. Partner with Tech Leads to deliver pragmatic, high-quality architectural solutions and champion AI/ML integration into the platform workflow. Mentor engineers, manage career development, and foster a culture of high performance and inclusivity. Proactively manage technical and project risks through rigorous prioritization to ensure system stability and compliance. Synthesize complex platform updates into clear communications for senior leadership while translating requirements into technical strategies that drive platform adoption. Requires 10+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in engineering leadership, including hands-on development of large-scale embedded system control and data plane technologies in C/C++ on Linux-based networking switches.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years in a formal Engineering leadership Management role leading high-performing teams
- Strong understanding and Hands-on development experience delivering large-scale embedded system control and data plane technologies
- L2/L3 networking
- VXLAN-based EVPN fabrics
- C/C++ as development language
- Linux based OS

- Demonstrated hands-on experience building and integrating AI/ML solutions into software workflows
