Job Summary
Greet guests, answer merchandise questions, and recommend products to drive personal sales and meet hourly targets. Manage visual merchandising by assigning zones, ensuring floor standards, and tracking product life cycles. Lead new Teammates through orientation, training, and daily accountability while maintaining a positive store culture. Execute POS procedures, handle returns and exchanges, and monitor loss prevention risks including bag checks. Complete opening and closing checklists, navigate inventory tools, and communicate guest or policy concerns to management. Work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience

- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs

- Ability to recognize recruiting opportunities by utilizing Jobs & Careers cards, email referrals and Teammate Recommend
- Ability to recognize merchandising opportunities from freight to floor and life cycle of product
- Ability to recognize and assign Zones and projects to Teammates daily with a specific learning goal in mind
- Ability to execute and demonstrate all new tools and videos that apply to zone ownership
- Ability to recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations
