Job Summary
Leader in Training roles develop into leadership within the dispensary by actively supervising daily operations, communicating priorities to team members, and rotating through critical functions to support operations, experience, and people. Responsibilities include overseeing dispensary operations for compliance with security, inventory, and state/local regulations; managing inventory and vault processes; leading teams during programs and promotions; handling cash and payments; delivering consistent, high-quality customer experiences; participating in Leader On Duty shifts; facilitating an omni-channel customer journey (in-store, drive-thru, curbside, delivery); onboarding and training new team members; and collaborating with the General Manager/Assistant GM to build and retain a high-performing team. Skills emphasized include leadership, proactive communication, adaptability, time management, conflict resolution, cross-functional teamwork, proficiency with office software, and a strong understanding of cannabis regulations.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role
- Cannabis experience preferred
- Inventory control experience preferred
- Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, weekends) to meet business needs
- Must have reliable, responsible and dependable attendance
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb
- Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations, and a passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws
- Prior cannabis experience not required
