Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions about merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Maintain product knowledge, share sales and promotion updates, and consistently meet personal sales-per-hour and total net sales goals. Lead by example, coach new teammates on sales presentation and visual standards, and assign zones with specific learning goals. Execute POS procedures, handle returns and exchanges, and ensure the store remains clean and shoppable. Recognize recruiting opportunities, utilize referral cards, and motivate the team to complete daily tasks. Complete opening and closing checklists, navigate inventory tools, and communicate guest or policy concerns to management. Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom

- ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to execute and teach all Point of Sale (“POS”) procedures
- Know Buckle guidelines when handling returns and exchanges
- Ability to navigate and execute all tools on the home page
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
